Facilities: The Lang Lang club has undergone major refurbishments during the past 10 years. The facilities have been improved and there is more work scheduled over the next few years. Hot takeaway food is available from the canteen.
There’s plenty of room and cover at Lang Lang to set up your campfire. Your floats, cars, vans and tents are all adequately catered too. With a natural bush setting, one of the last known natural parts of the Lang Lang bush in the area, there is plenty of trees and cover.
In all three of the photos below note the bush in the back ground. The area for cars and floats is cleared of low shrubs.
Going to slips, once past the facilities and viewing area the attendant takes their dogs from a bush hide thus you can get to slips with the minimum of fuss.
Here we can see the lure, the lead greyhound and the runner up in a recent course at Lang Lang.
The track is fully enclosed. The slips area is undercover and has kennels for greyhounds waiting to contest the next course. Well sometimes our courses are close together and you need to hold one whilst the other is put into slips.
The catching pen is serviced by a great team and just in case you can’t get there to catch a greyhound the team will catch it and put the greyhound into one of the holding pens.
