The Slips to Boxes heats were run yesterday at Lang Lang and we saw some quality coursing with some more experienced coursing dogs returning. Starbright Hud (Victor Millington) and Cherry Pie (Neil Lavelle) took out the two heats of the Slips to Boxes. Both dogs took out their maidens last week and proved their wins last week were no fluke by running quick times and earning another coursing win in the higher grade. We also saw Greta’s Gold (Donald Rhodes), Mia Neo (Luke Smith), Aston Ostuni (Trevor Whitford), Fire and Noise (Craig Treasure), Photoshopped (Gavin Clifton), Rapid Invader (Connie McMillan), Exactly Like Dad (Paul Hammerstein) and Grapefruit Quack (Gerry O’Keefe) break their maidens. Gerry OKeefe returned to training after a break with Grapefruit Quack and showed that he has lost nothing of his training magic by guiding him to a debut win. Time honours belonged to the brilliant youngster Photoshopped who ran an incredible 16.53 in conditions that were not conducive to quick times. He is a serious dog like his father and looks to have a very bright future ahead. We will update you on future meets after Wednesdays Executive meeting after a few challenges have forced our hand on rescheduling a few upcoming meets.
