While we were a bit low on nominations for Sundays meet at Longwood, we were high on quality as Yandama (Dallas Massina) won the Longwood Cup from a gallant Hillbilly Hunter (Michael Hendy). Yandama has been a brilliant performer all year and will be one of the favourites as we head to Waterloo in a fortnights time. Yellow Sapphire (Sean Lithgow) took out the Bert Clark Memorial after a walkover in the final. Angry Franky (Steve Collyer) took out the 1 win event and Exactly Like Dad (Paul Hammerstein) continued his perfect preparation for Waterloo with another win in the mixed puppy event. Also congratulations to Two Ticks (James Shaw) and Pelican’s Sunday (Angela Bigham) who won their maidens. Well done to Longwood for a successful year. They pushed through many challenges and did brilliantly to get their track ready to course on this year. The final event of the year is the Waterloo Cup at Lang Lang which is completed over consecutive Sundays. Its the most open of years with many contenders. See you all at Lang Lang!
